Team

AniTech is made up of unique individuals with diverse backgrounds in materials science, research, and business management. 

 

Our passion to address the problems with food loss is only the catalyst. The dedication of each team member allows us to help producers and distributors monitor and manage crop quality, reduce their losses, and improve their operations.

Gillian Santos

CEO

10+ years in Technical & Economic Research, Business & Policy Development, Grant Raising, Stakeholder Management, and Project Consultancy​​

  • Raised more than $80K USD in investment & grant funding for AniTech

  • Forged a global innovation partnership with GrainPro to co-develop IoT solutions for post-harvest storage worldwide

  • Co-led a National Study on optimal rice buffer stocking under RA 11203

  • Led the pre-commercialization activities in 3 Government Funded Nanotechnology Projects

7+ Years of expertise in Nanomaterial Technologies and Agricultural Sensing Solutions

  • Headed research under the DOST-TAPI TECHNICOM grant on nanosensor-based pesticide detection

  • Worked on multiple Nanotech research grants on gas sensing and respiratory disease detection

  • Pursuing PhD in polymer research for industrial and agricultural applications

  • Oversees data insights from AniTech’s deployments across Japan and the Philippines
